Who We Are

House of Hope is located in central Connecticut, between Hartford and New Haven and founded by Laura Harris. Our special ones are monitored 24/7, 365 day a year with free roaming to safely enjoy sunshine, relaxing and bird watching through large windows. After a period of introduction and monitoring the "special ones" live in a group home environment. Cages are used on when medically or behaviorally required. The House of Hope is located on private property which its use is donated.

Our Mission

Our Values

1. We will educate the public about best practices in caring for cats based on our experiences. 2. We will treat each cat who stays with us as an individual and accommodate his or her preferences to the best of our abilities. 3. We will provide our "special ones" with the best medical care available while considering quality of life, and euthanize only when a cat is truly suffering and has no hope of recovery. 4. We will maintain a clean, safe, calm and positive environment for those in our care.
